Last month, Claire O’Connor helped Gonzaga send the Colorado women’s basketball team into the offseason. Now, she’s the first transfer addition of the offseason for the Buffaloes. On Friday, BuffZone confirmed a report by Talia Goodman of On3Sports that O’Connor has committed to CU after two seasons with Gonzaga. A 6-foot guard from Bellevue, Wash., O’Connor will be a junior next season and she has two years of eligibility remaining.

Deion Sanders has been rewarded with a record-breaking contract after a transformational first two seasons as Colorado’s head football coach. On Friday, CU athletic director Rick George announced a new five-year, $54 million contract for Sanders that will make him one of the highest-paid coaches in the country. The contract was unanimously approved by CU’s board of regents on Friday morning.

As of this afternoon, CU has sold 9,650 tickets for the April 19 spring game at Folsom Field. It'll still be one of the highest-attended spring games in #cubuffs history, but certainly well below the pace of 2024 (28,424 sold) and 2023 (47,277 sold).
