NEW HAVEN, CT — A 50-year-old New Haven man in a wheelchair was fatally struck by a car early Saturday, police said. At 3:43 a.m., police responded to the 100 block of Dixwell Avenue for a report of a person struck by a vehicle. Police found the man in the roadway suffering from injuries, police said. New Haven Fire and American Medical Response provided medical aid to the victim, and he was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

BRANFORD, CT — With one line on their Facebook page, Little Pub, announced plans to open a new location in Branford. "Coming this Summer- Little Pub Branford. See you soon! xoxo, lp," the owners wrote. The Little Pub will be moving into the former The Essex Brasserie location. If you're not familiar with the Little Pub they operate locations in Wilton, Stratford, Greenwich, Old Saybrook, Westport, and Fairfield. In a 2019, Patch article, it states Doug Grabe and his wife, Daneen, own the Little Pub.
