Purdue has likely completed its 2025 roster by adding North Florida grad student Liam Murphy via the transfer market. The 6-foot-7, 220-pound Staten Island native played this season at North Florida after playing at and graduating from Columbia, where he averaged 9.9 points over 36 career games, missing one full season due to injury. At UNF this season, Murphy mostly came off the bench to average 13 points and made 42.3 percent of his threes.

Purdue has added an enormous piece to both its present and future, as guard Omer Mayer has committed to join the Boilermakers beginning next season. The Israeli professional traveled to West Lafayette this weekend immediately after the Nike Hoop Summit in Portland, where he recorded seven assists in 19 minutes in the World team’s overtime loss to Team USA.
