The Golden Eagles have had an amazing season, winning 18 out of the 26 games they played. The Golden Eagles ended the first half up 33-31. The Seawolves couldn’t do much on the offensive end in the third quarter.

Brian Perez, Multimedia ReporterThe Cal State LA Golden Eagles lost to the Sonoma State University Seawolves 70-56 at the university gym on Feb. 23. The season has been a tough year on the Golden Eagles, winning only 11 of their 27 games this season. Cal State LA was ahead of Sonoma State 15-12, with a good start from senior guard Alexander Sokol. But, a shift in momentum put Sonoma State in the lead after four consecutive three pointers, leading to a score of 24-17.

In what many saw as being a shock, Harry Styles’ “Harry’s House” album defeated Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” album in winning album of the year at the Grammys. The Grammys were held at the beginning of Feb. at the Los Angeles Crypto.com arena. Linda Flores, a criminal Justice major, shared her opinion on what she thought about this year’s award show. “I loved a lot of the nominees so it was difficult for me to decide who I wanted to win until I was watching with my sisters,” she said.
