    Holston Gases completed the acquisition of the propane business of Combustion Services, headquartered in McEwen, Tennessee. Holston will service these customers from its new facility located at 1080 Highway 49 in Erin, Tennessee, according to the company. With the acquisition, Holston Gases will add more than 1,000 propane customers.

    AmeriGas began 2025 with a new president and a fresh outlook on its future. A UGI company, AmeriGas appointed Michael Sharp to lead the largest propane retailer in the United States. With more than 25 years in the energy industry, Sharp arrived from Talen Energy, where he served as vice president of asset management since 2023. “We have a plan in place and a lot of enthusiasm,” Sharp shared with LP Gas during this year’s Southeastern & International Propane Expo in Charlotte, North Carolina.
