The Senate’s Public Education Funding Commission voted to approve several new provisions. They include focusing on transparency and impact on student outcomes. The Wicomico Partnership gave away more than 500 Chromebooks to people receiving government assistance throughout the day. For many of these people, getting these laptops is a chance to get the ball rolling for their careers.

DOVER, Del. – Delaware law enforcement is gearing up for one of their biggest traditions as part of their support for the Special Olympics. Nearly 800 members of Law Enforcement will be running across the state, carrying the Flame of Hope as part of the 39th annual Torch Run. The three day run has raised more than twelve million dollars since it first started, creating a symbol of hope in the community. Delaware State Police Corporal Lewis Briggs tells us it truly is a unique event.
