Butch Thompson knows that if he needs a pitcher to eat up innings for Auburn this season, he can turn to Cam Tilly. The sophomore right-hander has appeared in 14 games, 12 of them from the bullpen, while allowing 17 runs over 32 innings and striking out 41. On Thursday, Tilly will get another shot at the starting role, his third in a row, as the Tigers host South Carolina and look to build on a series win at Tennessee last weekend.

At the 7:17 mark of the video, Jackson Koivun shyly introduces himself before Brendan Valdes starts listing all of the awards his teammate won last season as a freshman. "Nicklaus, Hogan, Haskins, First Team All-American, Mickelson Award, First Team All-SEC, SEC Player of the Year, SEC Freshmen Team ... Am I missing anything?" Valdes states. Koivun's massive first year at Auburn, capped by the program's first team national title, has been hailed as one of the best in college golf.

There was some speculation that the 2024-25 season would be Bruce Pearl's last run at a national title. The head coach put together a roster full of talented veterans who were talented enough to get Auburn over that hump and win it all. The Tigers came close. But as it turns out, that was far from Pearl's last ride. He and his staff have put together another monster of a roster that will have them in the top 10 next preseason and give them the talent, size and shooting to get back to the Final Four.

AUBURN | No. 11 Auburn used a combination of four pitches, led by Christian Chatterton, to keep Georgia Tech's bat in check as the Tigers defeated the No. 21 Yellow Jackets, 1-0, in Plainsman Park on Tuesday evening. The Tigers' lone run came after they loaded the bases in the bottom of the second with no outs after three straight walks to start the frame. Eric Guevera and Chris Rembert struck out, but Cooper McMurray worked a walk to drive in Lucas Steele to make it 1-0.
