THIS WEEKEND:We had a large area of rain move through in the overnight, but things are more scattered as Saturday gets started. It won’t rain all day, but periods rain will be in the forecast today and through the first of next week as an area of low pressure in the northern Gulf slowly moves northward, bringing with it tons of moisture. Highs today will be near 70 as the clouds and showers keep us cooler. Sunday will be much of the same with periods of showers and storms and highs in the low 70s.

REST OF THE WEEKEND:After starting out calm and cool with low to mid 50s and some patchy fog, the sunshine returns this afternoon with highs only in the mid 70s. THIS WEEK:The really nice weather continues as we start the work week with mid to upper 70s on Monday under mostly sunny skies. Morning lows on Monday will be in the upper 40s to low 50s, so a little chilly. Then Tuesday, we’ll have a slight warm up with lows 80s expected, but still lots of sunshine to go around.

THIS WEEKEND:We’ve got several rounds of showers and storms in store for today. The first round is moving this morning with some embedded thunder. By early afternoon the first round should be exiting the viewing area. Then later this afternoon, another round around dinner time is expected to swing through out ahead of the actual front. So, there will be a lull in the action, but more rain will be one the way later today. Highs today will only get into the mid to upper 70s.

Unfortunately, Mother's Day is looking wet! It won't rain all day, but there could be prolonged periods of rain, some of that heavy. We are Weather Aware for a isolated severe storms, but widespread severe weather is not expected. - BT @WRBLFirstAlert https://t.co/wPPsoUyg5O

An area of low pressure is slowly moving northward out of the Gulf and with it lots of moisture, resulting in periods of rain and storms for the weekend! Keep the umbrellas close by and drive carefully! Highs today will be near 70. - BT @WRBLFirstAlert https://t.co/kQbyI4d1Uh

After starting out with some patchy fog this morning, we've got a beautiful day on tap with lots of sunshine and highs in the mid 70s. We start the week dry, but rain chances return by midweek. - BT @WRBLFirstAlert https://t.co/nTFyiyhhue
