We’re starting out pretty seasonal across the region this morning, but we’re headed toward a warm afternoon with highs in the low to mid 90s and only an isolated shower or storm for relief. THIS WEEK:This week, a ridge over a good portion of the U.S. strengthens and that will help suppress most of the afternoon convection leaving most of us hot and dry with afternoon highs in the upper 90s by Tuesday. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 70s.

FATHER’S DAY:It’s another mild and muggy start with a few areas of fog this morning. For Father’s Day, we’ll see partly cloudy skies by the lunch hour, then clouds will build in the afternoon with isolated showers and storms popping up once again as this Summer-like pattern continues. THIS WEEK:Monday and Tuesday will feature similar conditions with isolated to scattered afternoon and evening showers and storms. Highs each day will be near 90°.

FATHER”S DAY WEEKEND:We’re starting out in the low 70s this morning, and with dewpoints in the low 70s, there are some areas of fog or reduced visibility. We’ll see mostly cloudy skies for today with scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms. We aren’t expecting anything severe, but they could definitely pack a punch. Highs today will be in the upper 80s. Sunday, we’ll see a little more sun with highs near 90, and again those afternoon and evening pop up showers and storms.

We'll see a mix of sun and clouds later today with continued hazy conditions thanks to some high-altitude smoke from the wildfires in Canada. Highs today will be in the mid 80s. Also, hurricane season begins today! - BT @WRBLFirstAlert https://t.co/mCtUYQ20Fh
