Kristen Blais left the United States Air National Guard to fulfill her dream of owning and operating a day care, recognizing the tremendous need in the area. Today Tiny Town of Colonie has a 700-child waitlist, and Blais has a new facility under construction. Dr. Briana Byrnes purchased a long-established dental practice on Pawling Avenue in Troy after starting her career at Ellis Hospital. She has since invested in real estate nearby and is passionate about giving back to the community.
