Local traders have shown their support for the introduction of extended police powers in a third location in South Australia. Acting Assistant Police Commissioner John De Candia announced on Thursday that police would be declaring a trial public precinct at Glenelg from today until April 7. The Declared Public Precinct's boundary will run along Anzac Highway, Brighton Road, High Street and the Holdfast Promenade.

Two more victims of a multi-million-dollar bungle involving cochlear implants have been identified, as SA health authorities say some recommendations handed down last year are yet to be implemented. A review was called to investigate the issue in May 2022 after it was raised with SA Health that young patients at the Women's and Children's Hospital were fitted with cochlear implants that were wrongly programmed. The Paediatric Cochlear Implant Program had been running in the state since 2006.

SA Health says it will "no longer" partner with an organisation that is run by members of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church following questions by the ABC. Former members have spoken to the ABC about the church's rules, views on women and position on university attendance, describing it as a "cult". The claim has been denied by the church with a spokesperson saying it was a global Christian fellowship that "lives peacefully amongst neighbours all over the world".
