    MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — The City of Milford has launched its annual Mosquito Control Program. City and state officials are reminding residents of the measures they can take to protect themselves from viruses that the insects carry. “This is what keeps the community safe,” said Mayor Tony Giannattasio. “We have a lot of open space in Milford.”The city’s Director of Health, Deepa Joseph, says the insects can carry a number of viruses harmful to humans.

    EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — East Hartford Public Schools held its first ever ‘Adaptive Field Day’ on Monday. The event is the first of its kind, catered towards kids in kindergarten to fifth grade living with physical and cognitive impairments.  East Hartford Public Schools physical therapist Chelsea Apanovitch helped to organize the event.
