IN LONDONPrince Harry has alleged that he was stripped of his UK police protection in a bid to prevent he and his wife, Meghan, from leaving the country. Due to the “highly confidential” information being shared relating to the Duke of Sussex’s security, a large portion of the case has been shared privately. Speaking to the UK’s Telegraph after appearing in person for the two-day court proceedings in London this week, Harry said that his “worst fears have been confirmed” by what he’d heard.

IN LONDONMeghan Markle has been called out for a “totally over-the-top” decision to use four security vehicles during a night out in New York City. The Duchess of Sussex attended the Broadway show Gypsy on Thursday night, opting to travel with three SUVs and an unmarked police car. Page Six reports that she hired former Secret Service agents as part of her private security team and that the NYPD-owned unmarked vehicle had two detectives in it.

IN LONDONKensington Palace has today announced the host country for Prince William’s next Earthshot Prize. The 2025 event will take place in Rio de Janeiro in November. In a video posted on the Earthshot Prize Instagram page on Friday, William joined celebrity supporters including David Beckham, Robert Irwin and Cate Blanchett to unveil this year’s nominee. The prestigious global environmental prize is an annual, multi-day celebration that was launched by William in 2020.
