The Brookdale Community College men’s and women’s cross-country teams delivered impressive performances at the NJCAA DIII Region 19 Championship held on Sunday, October 27, at Branch Brook Park in Newark, New Jersey. The women’s team celebrated top-three finishes while the men’s team placed multiple runners in the top 10, showcasing the depth and talent of the Jersey Blues.

The women's 5k was led by freshman, Georgia Jones, who finished in 2nd overall. Jones was followed by sophomore captain, Brooke Meberg, who finished 3rd.

Lincroft, NJ - On Saturday, November 11th, the women's cross country team participated in the NJCAA DIII National Championship meet at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama. Brookdale was represented by freshman Brooke Meberg from Ocean Township High School. Brooke placed 35th with a time of 22:43 over the 5K course. Meberg ran one of the best times for Brookdale women's cross country in a decade. "I am excited to see what the future holds for Brooke.

Pomona, NJ - The Brookdale women's cross country team competed this past Saturday at the Osprey Open in Ponoma, NJ, hosted by Stockton University. It was a picture-perfect day as the women took on the newly designed 6K course. Freshman Brooke Meberg led the way placing 72nd in a time of 27:44 which was the second fastest time of the day among junior college teams.
