LCG Advisors is expanding its investment banking operations with the addition of senior finance professionals. Kevin Groff has joined LCG as senior managing director to lead the firm’s Business Services Group, which includes investment banking, forensic accounting, litigation support and a newly developed exit advisory division. Groff will be based in West Palm Beach and will work from LCG’s Tampa and Denver offices.

Sarasota-based luxury handbag brand BSWANKY has partnered with Proof-it and EM Microelectronic to offer a new way for customers to authenticate and trace the provenance of its products. The collaboration integrates Proof-it’s digital tags with EM Microelectronic’s Swiss-made semiconductor technology. This allows consumers to scan a tag on their BSWANKY bag with a smartphone, providing detailed information about the bag’s creation, ownership history and value as a luxury item.

Peak Surf Park, a surf-focused attraction planned for Tampa Bay, has secured a 35-acre site within the Two Rivers development, in Pasco County. The park, which is set for completion in late 2027, aims to bring surfing and entertainment amenities to West Central Florida. The park’s central feature will be a large surf lagoon, powered by Surf Lakes technology from Australia, surrounded by half a mile of beach.
