It’s true. Instagram came out with video capability in 2013. I went into antidepressant withdrawal in 2016 and started talking about it publicly in 2017.

    On March 17, 2025, the New York Times published an article profiling Laura Delano of the Inner Compass Initiative. I knew this article was in the pipeline and wondered what angle the Times would take, given their staunch defense of antidepressants after RFK’s confirmation hearing back in February. Unsurprisingly, the article is all over the place and manages to piss off everyone and help almost no one, as evidenced by both the pro-medication comment section and my anti-medication inbox.
