Gr 9 Up–The world of figure skating is a battleground. Literally. Skaters compete with jumps, spins, and attempts to knock their opponents to the ice. Emile is a rookie, and due to another skater getting injured, he must battle the number one skater in the world: Radu. Emile holds his own and discovers Radu’s biggest secret in the middle of their battle: he’s a vampire. At risk of getting kicked out if discovered, Radu begs Emile not to reveal his secret to the skating federation.
