    FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A semi truck was involved in a crash with a pair of Michigan Department of Transportation vehicles on Tuesday morning. Troopers from the Monroe Post responded around 9:45 a.m. at Interstate 75 near Interstate 275 in Frenchtown Township. Authorities say MDOT workers were working on patching the left lane of I-75. The road crew had two MDOT attenuator vehicles behind the crew.

(AP) — A federal judge Tuesday ordered the Trump administration to release billions of dollars in funding for the build out of electric vehicle chargers in more than a dozen states. U.S. District Judge Tana Lin in Washington state partially granted a preliminary injunction that sought to free up the money approved under then-President Joe Biden that the Trump administration withheld earlier this year.

    After a 10-cent increase in per gallon price last week, diesel prices soared again. This week the increase totaled 20 cents per gallon. The average price per gallon stood at $3.571. This week that price soared to $3.775 per gallon. Nine of the 10 regions jumped by double digits. New England’s nine-cent jump was the only single-digit increase from $3.895 to $3.967. The largest jumps came from the Midwest Region which saw a 24-cent jump from $3.537 to $3.777.

    McALLEN, Texas (AP) — Immigration arrests seen on video are showing an emerging trend: More Border Patrol agents are doing their jobs far from the borders with Mexico or Canada. A Border Patrol agent was seen hitting a Southern California landscaper on the head and neck as he was pinned to the ground during an arrest Saturday. The Department of Homeland Security said the man swung his weed trimmer at agents.
