London-born composer and musician Tom Fletcher and his wife Giovanna celebrated 21 years of “togetherness” last October. When working together, Giovanna – on The Chase this weekend (June 14) – and Tom have “creative differences”. And in the past, they’ve led to “snappy” arguments. The couple met as teens at school, and married back in 2012. But in the early days of their relationship, Tom “dumped” her. Years of grovelling followed, and eventually they got back together. Haven’t looked back.

The Hit List star Rochelle Humes and her husband Marvin renewed their wedding vows three years ago and, since it was so much fun, they have decided to make it into a tradition. She’s even tried to get her friends to do the same thing. That way, as they get older, she and Marvin will still have weddings, or wedding-like parties, with which to fill up their social calendar. Singer and songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor competed in the 11th series of Strictly Come Dancing in late 2013. Brendan Cole was her dance partner. Together, they made it into the final four, but not without putting a strain on Sophie’s marital life with husband Richard Jones. In her 2021 biography, Spinning Plates, she even went so far as to compare the atmosphere created by the show to “a cult”. It’s been a big year for him and his wife, four-time Oscar-nominated actress and producer, Saoirse Ronan. The couple tied the knot in secret, in Scotland, last summer. And now – congratulations! – they are expecting their first child.
