The results are in for the fourth annual Employee Giving Supplies Drive, and the outcome is record-breaking. This year’s drive brought in an impressive 1,853 pounds of non-perishable food and toiletries — surpassing last year’s total by more than 100 pounds. These generous donations will go directly to students through the ASUCD Pantry and Aggie Compass Basic Needs Center.

UC Davis employees and retirees have made an incredible impact on the university by donating nearly $11.5 million during the 2023-2024 fiscal year to date. These numbers include 2,264 employee donors (626 faculty and 1,638 staff) out of 26,295 full-time employees across UC Davis and UC Davis Health, for a 9.6% and 8.2% participation rate, respectively. And the gifts include everything from monthly gifts to legacy gifts.

The theme for this year’s Give Day, “Reaching Greater Heights,” proved to be prophetic as the eighth-annual event was one of the most successful ever. With more than 4,700 online and in-person donations, the annual event brought in more than $4.1 million, blowing past the nearly $3.4 million raised in 2023.
