The tale of Anthony Richardson continues to be brimming with injuries and setbacks. The 2023 4th overall pick is facing another, yet familiar, hurdle as reports are coming out of camp that he has pain in his throwing shoulder. They are early reports, and we are sitting here three months away from the season, but news like this gives off an awfully bad energy. It’ll be tough to shake this feeling when fantasy drafts come around.

Those tiny little advantages. That’s what any and every good fantasy football manager wants on their roster. They come in all different shapes, sizes, and flavors, and everyone has their preference. Trying to find these elusive advantages is a tall task. Because at the end of the day, you’re not the only one in your league on the hunt. That’s why there are times when you have to dig deep to find something where others aren’t looking.

With the NFL Draft just a few days away, dynasty football managers are locked in and ready to see where their favorite prospects land. Most managers are excited to see where the top players end up and to see if their hot takes come to fruition. I’ll be honest with you – Rookie Drafts are hard. You, as a dynasty football manager, are always trying to set up your team for years of success. Before the season even gets going, you are faced with a tricky test in the form of a three-to-four-round draft with a small set of unknown commodities. In each Rookie Draft, you try to pinpoint and select the next Justin Jefferson while avoiding the next N’Keal Harry with just a few picks.

Another day, another league, another rookie draft. This one though was a bit more exciting from my end as I had two top picks in this draft. The result was a bit more standard, and my later round picks were SUPER late, making this draft a very top-heavy outing for my board. I initially drafted two top-five rookie draft picks during the start up draft, but traded the 1.04 before the draft to move up two spots. In that discussion we had agreed that this trade would give me the first stab at QB.
