Larry Ogunjobi, the first NFL draft pick from Ragsdale and current member of the Buffalo Bills, is hosting his fifth annual youth football camp at his high school alma mater. The camp operates from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 14 for boys and girls ages 8 to 14. It's free, but limited to 100 campers. Participants can register via USA Football. The camp has included drills geared toward teaching the game's fundamentals, in addition to principles of sportsmanship and teamwork.

The Greensboro Aquatic Center will host the 2026 Big 12 Conference Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships scheduled for Feb. 24-28, it was announced Thursday. It's a first for the GAC in regard to the Big 12, and only the second time the conference swimming and diving championship is being held at a neutral site. Seven men's programs and 10 women's programs will compete in Greensboro. Also, the GAC will host the AAC Championships in 2026, the first time since 2015.
