AbstractPURPOSE Meeting scholarly activity requirements continues to be a challenge in many family medicine (FM) residency programs. Studies comprehensively describing FM resident scholarship have been limited. We sought to identify institutional factors associated with increased scholarly output and meeting requirements of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

To the Editor: A term infant born to a 24-year-old G1P1 birthing person living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) was rooming in on the postpartum unit. When discussing feeding preferences with nursing, the birthing person stated they are interested in chestfeeding, the gender-inclusive term for breastfeeding,1 however both nursing staff and the birthing person are unsure if it is safe to do so when living with HIV. An initial decision was made to start exclusive formula feeding.
