In May 2022, Gov. Ned Lamont signed a law committing Connecticut to be 100 percent carbon-free by 2040, building on an executive order he signed in 2019. There is a proposed reform which could help narrow that gap by improving outcomes for all students, especially those from low-income families. The Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee will have a hearing on Wednesday, March 6, to consider House Bill 5101 and listen to members of the public.

"@neil_chilson & @smithtjosh of @abundanceinst note a flaw of the European-style, hyper-regulatory posture towards AI. For example, “Colorado has passed a ‘comprehensive’ AI regulation that no one knows how to implement." @davidbmcgarry @Protectaxpayers https://t.co/GvLNWmkn0O

“The question before us is not whether AI can improve government efficiency, the evidence from the private sector is overwhelming that it can,” @neil_chilson said. “The question is whether we have the vision & the commitment to embrace these innovations." https://t.co/z8aas2QYd3
