    SAN ANGELO, Texas — Two standout Angelo State University baseball players are receiving national recognition, for their outstanding efforts during the 2025 season. Jacob Guerrero and Chase Pendley have received All-American honors from the D2 Conference Commissioner's Association. Guerrero was named to the second team, marking the third time he's received All-American honors. The senior put together a .401 batting average, and had 89 hits, including 19 doubles, while driving in 52 runs.

    SAN ANGELO, Texas — It's a big week for the Angelo State University track and field teams. The seventh ranked Rams and 17th ranked Rambelles will compete at the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships in Pueblo, Colorado beginning on Thursday. The Rams and Rambelles qualified 18 athletes for the outdoor championships; eight on the men's side and 10 on the women's side.

    SAN ANGELO, Texas — And the winner is, Korbin Jastrow. The Central High School senior, is the winner of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition in Texas's 11th Congressional District.  This year's theme was "Texas to Me." In her submission, Jastrow wrote, "the cow was drawn with pencil, then stamped with homemade stamps representing the Indian paintbrush and bluebonnets.

    SAN ANGELO, Texas — The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office is on the hunt, looking for a man wanted in connection with the burglary of a San Angelo home. The suspect law enforcement is looking for, is Michael Gabriel Sanchez. Investigators say just after 10 Wednesday morning, deputies were dispatched to a home on Poplar Lane, for a report of Burglary of Habitation.

It's just Fort Concho celebrating the brave men and women who are defending freedom here at home, and around the world. From 10am to 3pm Saturday, Fort Concho will hold its annual Armed Forces Day celebration. Every hour on the hour, cannons will fire in recognition of the day. But that's not all.
