1. IntroductionThe population is always on the rise, especially in India. Scarcity in land availability forces people to stay on lesser available land. The situation is further complicated when the available land is uneven, such as in hilly regions. The design of buildings in hilly regions is a challenging task due to various reasons, such as uneven terrain, steep gradients, and the constant effects of natural hazards due to adverse climatic conditions.
