2024 has been an awful year for the human being named Cameron Abbott, between losing a job I’d heavily emotionally invested myself into for the last year and a half, to spending six months in unemployment without a lifeline in sight. Interviews became fewer and fewer as the job market sealed itself shut tight, and I began competing with tens of thousands of people for what work was being offered.
