Le Fee’s arrival showed that SAFC wanted to strengthen their squad ahead of a push for promotion this campaign. However, by the time the window shut, they had not brought in what they desired, signing just Jayden Danns – who has been injured since his arrival.

After a poor campaign this year, PAFC are rock bottom of the table and seven points adrift with seven games to go. The Pilgrims’ fixture list will not do them any favours either. Leeds United have got a long two weeks ahead of them as they continue their push for automatic promotion. Their form has began to drop at the worst time, leaving LUFC in 2nd and level on points with 3rd place Burnley. Daniel Farke missed out on promotion last season as his side lost in the play-off final to Southampton. That left them as favourites for promotion this campaign, and they cannot let this chance go to waste.

Huddersfield Town still have so much to play for in the final few games of the season. With just seven games left in HTAFC’s season, they are in 8th and two points outside the play-off places. The Terriers are currently without a permanent boss after Michael Duff was sacked with the Terriers 7th in League One. Jon Worthington was named as caretaker until the end of the season but now, after back-to-back defeats, Town are considering backtracking on that statement.

Daniel Farke’s side are fighting with Burnley and Sheffield United to secure an automatic promotion spot, something they failed to do last season. West Brom have seen their place in the play-offs face danger in recent week as they have gone three games without a win. Despite this, WBA still sit 6th in the Championship, level on points with 7th-placed Middlesbrough though. The Baggies were beaten 1-0 last time out as Norwich City beat them at Carrow Road. Josh Sargent’s late winner saw WBA come away with nothing. The game sees Tony Mowbray face the side who sacked him last season in Sunderland.

Norwich City still have plenty to play for this season as they hope to secure a play-off place come May. With seven games remaining, NCFC are in 10th and sit just five points adrift of the top six. The Canaries have had a patchy campaign and with that comes inconsistent performers in their squad. However, one man who has had a great year is Manchester City loanee Callum Doyle. Many fans will have hoped, perhaps ambitiously, for a permanent return of Doyle this summer.
