Birmingham City have enjoyed a season to remember this year and have had promotion back to the Championship confirmed with six games to play. BCFC were expected to go straight back up this year and they have done just that. Last summer summer was one of huge turnover for Chris Davies’ side as they spent around £30m with the help of their new owners. The majority of their squad this campaign joined this summer, however one key man who has been around for a while is skipper Krystian Bielik.

Sunderland had a very bright start to the January window when they brought Enzo Le Fee to the club. Le Fee’s arrival showed that SAFC wanted to strengthen their squad ahead of a push for promotion this campaign. Amid their links to Tom Cannon and Ben Brereton Diaz, the club looked like they were looking to add genuine quality to their squad. However, by the time the window shut, they had not brought in what they desired, signing just Jayden Danns – who has been injured since his arrival.

Plymouth Argyle have got a real fight on their hands to stay in the Championship this season. Four of their next five games are against sides that hope to be in the Premier League next season, whether through the play-offs or automatics.

Sunderland have much to play for in the final weeks of the season as they look to put themselves in the best possible place ahead of the play-offs. While they can still achieve automatic promotion, it is unlikely that SAFC pull off a nine-point turnover. The Black Cats face a difficult few days this weekend with games against two sides competing for the final two play-off spots.

Leeds United have got a long two weeks ahead of them as they continue their push for automatic promotion. Their form has began to drop at the worst time, leaving LUFC in 2nd and level on points with 3rd place Burnley. Daniel Farke missed out on promotion last season as his side lost in the play-off final to Southampton. That left them as favourites for promotion this campaign, and they cannot let this chance go to waste.
