Since its launch in 2023, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 ($519 at Amazon) has become a sensation in the world of content creation. As a creator, I see dozens of them at every tech event. Since I started using one myself, I've convinced the wider Android Authority team to adopt it. We now usually have three or four of them with us when we travel to major events like CES, MWC, and Google I/O.

For well over 10 years now, I have owned and maintained a Plex server. I first got started with Plex when I realized that to consume most of the media content I wanted meant signing up for 10 different streaming services - and even then, I still wouldn't have access to everything. That's a game I refuse to play, so making my own server with only the things I want and nothing else was the most obvious solution. Since then, Plex has become a massive part of my life.

When the rumor mill first suggested that the Google Pixel 9 Pro could be a relatively compact flagship complete with a periscope telephoto camera, I was immediately hooked. An Android phone that crams almost all the features one expects from a modern flagship into a small-ish body is just what I've always wanted. I ordered mine on launch day and have loved it every day since. However, I can objectively see that my love for the Pixel 9 Pro is tainted by the fact that it is the only game in town.

It was previously launched in many European countries and the UK, but thanks to earning FDA clearance, it is finally here in the US. As you'd expect, the feature monitors your pulse and looks for drops, which could indicate cardiac arrest, respiratory or circulatory failure, or other problems.

Usually, the Korean rollout goes hand-in-hand with the US rollout, so this schedule should align closely. The most prominent devices should have One UI 7 by the end of May, according to this schedule. Samsung used to be one of the best companies for quick rollouts of the newest version of Android to all of its most popular Android phones and tablets.

For about half of March, I was away from work on a family vacation. We took a cruise through Spain, Morocco, and Portugal. It was a lovely time, and I used my Google Pixel 9 Pro - easily one of the best camera phones you can currently buy - to document the whole trip. All the photos you see in this article come from the phone!Typically, many of the photos and videos I shot on this trip would have ended up on my Instagram profile.

While on the campaign trail in 2024, Donald Trump repeatedly mentioned his plans to institute tariffs on non-US goods should he win the presidency. Now that he's back in the White House, he has started fulfilling his tariff promises today. These tariffs will have a dramatic effect on the cost of goods within the US that are wholly or even partially sourced from other countries. One industry that will see changes due to Trump's tariffs is smartphones.
