Since 2020, Samsung's Galaxy S lineup has stayed incredibly consistent. Each year, we see a Galaxy S, Galaxy S Plus, and Galaxy S Ultra. This year, in the Galaxy S25 series that launched in February, we saw the same but also a tease for a new, ultra-thin model to come later on. Eventually, we found out the phone's name: the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Today, I got to use that phone for the first time.

Edgar Cervantes / Android Authority Over the years, the YouTube suggestion algorithm has become pretty complex. I've noticed that it can extrapolate my tastes very well based on my watch history, continuously tempting me to consume more videos. For example, I recently watched a live clip of The Prodigy at Coachella. My home screen feed then filled up with not only concert clips from other shows by The Prodigy, but also other artists that I enjoy, such as Nine Inch Nails, St. Vincent, Air, and more.

Google's algorithm on YouTube that suggests new content to me is great. It quickly gets a feel for the stuff I like to watch and pushes me to similar content by different creators. Before I know it, I'm hooked, spending hours and hours glued to my screen. However, every now and then, something slips through the cracks. Maybe you watched a political video and now get fed content from creators you'd rather not see.

Kris Carlon / Android Authority In 2020, Fitbit launched the Sense, its first fitness tracker that came close to being a bona fide smartwatch. Although it was a souped-up tracker on launch day, Fitbit slowly upgraded it over time, adding features like Google Assistant support and a small but effective list of third-party apps. By 2021, it was a smartwatch, through and through. I adopted the Fitbit Sense as my daily driver at launch and had it on my wrist every day for over three years.

I have been a devoted Pixel user for some time now. Currently, I'm rocking a Google Pixel 9 Pro, and I've loved every minute with it. Although there are other cool phones on the way in 2025 (not to mention many other terrific Android phones available today), I wouldn't be surprised if my next phone is a Pixel 10 Pro. What can I say: I'm nothing if not consistent. However, I work at Android Authority, so I am constantly using phones from other companies.

In late April, Meta released an update for its unbelievably popular Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses ($329 at Amazon). Although these don't run on the exciting new Android XR platform, they have been a very successful entry into the burgeoning AR glasses market. Thanks to this latest update, the glasses now have a new feature: live translation. As a frequent traveler, I rely on translation apps a lot - specifically Google Translate.
