CINCINNATI - When Luis Castillo looked across the way at the Cincinnati Reds dugout exactly a year ago at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, the Mariners right-hander barely recognized any of the players on the bench. MILWAUKEE - Major League Baseball did the Cincinnati Reds a favor before the 2023 season when it implemented a more balanced schedule that reduced divisional games from 76 to 52 each year. The change meant that instead of having six series against each of the four teams in the division, there are just four series - two home and two road - against each divisional opponents. That means fewer games against the Milwaukee Brewers.
