The rapid growth of the global economy has led to a more significant depletion of fossil fuels and reliance on them, resulting in energy crises and environmental pollution. Therefore, it is essential to find an eco-friendly and renewable energy resource that aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy). Biomass, a plant resource composed of organic carbon, is the only renewable resource from which liquid fuels can be produced [1].
