    One person has died after being hit by a vehicle in Latham. The crash happened around 5 a.m. on Loudon Road, just north of Troy-Schenectady Road. Police and bystanders tried to perform CPR on the victim, Felipa Martinez-Garcia, 49. However, she was pronounced dead on scene. The driver of the car that hit Martinez-Garcia is cooperating with police, investigators said. The road was closed for a time, but has since reopened. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 518-783-2754.
