Carnival Cruise Line is overhauling its loyalty program with a new system designed to reward guests for both cruising and spending. The program, called Carnival Rewards, will officially launch on June 1, 2026, replacing the long-running Very Important Fun Person (VIFP) program with a new structure that places greater emphasis on flexibility, redemption options, and ways to earn status. Carnival Rewards introduces a two-track system for loyalty benefits.

Barbados has officially extended its “Say Hello to Barbados” summer campaign, offering travelers a range of incentives for travel this fall. Visitors can now book eligible trips through June 30 for stays between September 1 and October 30, 2025. At the center of the campaign is a stay-seven-nights, pay-for-five offer available at participating hotels and resorts across the island. Additional promotions include discounts on island experiences, dining, car rentals, and family perks.

American Airlines is ramping up service to Aruba ahead of the winter travel season, Caribbean Journal has learned. Beginning December 18, the airline will ramp up to daily nonstop service from Chicago O’Hare to Aruba’s Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA).
