A weather boundary (an airmass that is different than the airmass currently over us, sometimes these boundaries can be cold or warm fronts) will move into and across the area this afternoon and evening leading to the development of thunderstorms. Due to the conditions in the atmosphere: sunshine, warmth, moisture (humidity) and the boundary, strong to severe storms are likely, with a high risk for strong to severe storms over the Minnesota area for this afternoon and evening.

Ran into a viewer today.. Them: *shakes hand* “hi I’m ____.” Me: *shakes hand* “it’s so nice to meet you, I’m Caitlyn!” Them: *giggles* “yeah, I know! I watch you on the news!” I feel like this is just as bad as telling my waiter/waitress to enjoy their food too 🤦🏻♀️

Looking like #Rudolf this morning due to heavy #WildfireSmoke in southern Minnesota despite taking allergy medication before heading to work! My poor nose is going to either fall off from all the itching or be extremely sore by tomorrow 😭 https://t.co/IpLqrTCmmN

You would think the forecast takes me the longest to do but in reality it’s writing captioning 🥴😅 everyday I’m writing it within 5 minutes of going live or during the first block of our show 😅
