25 WEATHER — Tonight should be mainly quiet except for areas in the vicinity of Highway 281. These places may encounter some showers and thunderstorms late tonight. The storms will be moving northeast so I don't think we'll see much activity able to enter Central Texas. Heading through tomorrow, skies will be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy, and a few showers and storms will attempt to pop up during the afternoon. These storms will not be able to grow much because of the limiting warm air above.

25 WEATHER — The windiest part of the day will conclude after the sun goes down, but some breezy weather may remain overnight. After the hot temperatures today, we'll cool down into the low-60s tonight. That will be followed by highs in the mid to upper-80s tomorrow. A cold front coming through during the evening will mark some northerly winds, which will help cool us down for Tuesday. Highs that day should be in the upper-70s. We'll remain in the 80s for the rest of the week.

25 WEATHER — A light breeze will keep up overnight, but tomorrow should turn into quite the windy day. We'll have winds at 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph. There could even be some gusts of 45 mph where a Wind Advisory is in effect, which is generally along and west of I-35. Tomorrow will be yet another very sunny day with temperatures reaching hot levels. Highs should easily make the 90s to the west of Interstate 35. Areas along Highway 281 will have the highest fire danger tomorrow.

25 WEATHER — We're going on five straight days of nothing but sunshine, and we might continue that streak tomorrow. If anything, we might see just a couple clouds. Sunday should be the same story. Temperatures will be in the low-80s to mid-80s tomorrow, followed by numbers close to 90° for Sunday. Sunday should also be quite breezy with a 25 mph wind from the south. Monday will also be quite warm but a dry cold front will come through sometime that afternoon.

25 WEATHER — Yesterday's Freeze Watch for Mills, San Saba, Hamilton and Lampasas Counties has been upgraded to a Freeze Warning for tonight. Meanwhile, much of the rest of Central Texas has been added to a Frost Advisory. Areas out to the west should fall to 30 or 31 degrees overnight, while many others will drop to 33 to 35 degrees. At the very least, this will spell frost tonight (hence the advisory), so you'll want to take action to protect sensitive plants and vegetation.
