Chelsea were wasteful in attack during their 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town at Stamford Bridge. Enzo Maresca‘s men really should have won the game, having plenty of opportunities in the first half before eventually finding themselves 2-0 down. It took an own goal from Axel Tuanzebe and a stunner from Jadon Sancho to level things up, with neither Cole Palmer nor Nicolas Jackson managing to score. Maresca has now discussed Sancho, who could return to Manchester United at the end of the season.

Enzo Maresca did not hold back when assessing the two goals Chelsea conceded against Ipswich Town on Sunday afternoon. Despite dominating the first half, Chelsea found themselves 2-0 down against Ipswich, who left their best player on the bench. Liam Delap, who is attracting interest from Chelsea, started the game as a substitute. But Kieran McKenna’s men were still able to score two goals while he was off the pitch.

Liam Delap helped Ipswich Town to earn a 2-2 draw away at Chelsea, but he could be playing for the Blues next season. The striker, who started on the bench, has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer. In fact, it has already been claimed that Chelsea are keen to sign Delap before the Club World Cup begins. Amid all of the speculation surrounding his future, Ipswich fans had a message for the 22-year-old during their side’s draw with Enzo Maresca‘s side.

One Chelsea star had a lot of Blues fans talking during their side’s 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town on Sunday. Chelsea dominated the first 45 minutes of the game, yet found themselves 2-0 down after some very poor defending. To makes things worse, Ipswich’s talisman and Chelsea target Liam Delap, who has scored 12 goals in the Premier League this season, started on the bench. Chelsea, as well as Everton, want Delap, while Manchester United are also thought to be keen on the 22-year-old.

One reason why Jose Mourinho was such a success at Chelsea was because of how invincible he made the Blues at home. Under Mourinho, Chelsea were able to win the Premier League titleon three occasions, not losing a single top-flight game at Stamford Bridge during the Special One’s first spell in the dugout. It is a record that is unlikely to ever be broken and had it not been for one of the club’s former players, it could have gone on for a little bit longer.
