Chelsea star Moises Caicedo has been speaking about Andrey Santos and Dario Essugo, who will both be midfield options for Enzo Maresca next season. Chelsea supporters will already get a chance to see a glimpse of them this month, with both players being included in their Club World Cup squad. Enzo Fernandez was Caicedo‘s partner in midfield last season, and the pair were great in the middle of the park for Chelsea.

Chelsea’s Conference League success and top-four finish last season are not the only reasons why Enzo Maresca deserves credit. The Chelsea manager also gave plenty of the club’s youngsters first-team opportunities, including Josh Acheampong, Tyrique George and 16-year-old Reggie Walsh. They did not disappoint either, with George being a big reason why Chelsea even finished in the top four. In total, the forward made just nine starts in the Premier League under Enzo Maresca. As a result, it looks like he could now be heading for the exit door. However, Nkunku is not the only Chelsea player who could end up at Bayern during this transfer window.

John Terry has sent a warning to any Chelsea supporters hoping to see the club sign a superstar like Eden Hazard. Chelsea bought Hazard from Lille 13 years ago, and the Belgian proved to be one of the Blues’ best-ever purchases. Hazard was already on his way to stardom, and by the time the former winger left Stamford Bridge, he was one of the best footballers in the world. Cole Palmer now dons Hazard’s No.10 shirt and is making the same kind of impact as the 34-year-old in west London.
