The sun is coming out, the hiking trails are heating up and more East Bay residents are heading out to get some vitamin D. But people aren’t the only ones looking to soak up the sun. As temperatures warm up, the local rattlesnake population is also taking to the trails. On May 8, the East Bay Regional Park district issued a rattlesnake advisory advising park visitors how to stay safe this summer as rattlesnakes emerge from hibernation.
