When the 2010 NFL Draft rolled around, the St. Louis Rams were coming off a dreadful 1-15 season in Steve Spagnuolo’s first year at the helm. Three different quarterbacks started games that year, with Marc Bulger being the only one to win a single start. They were desperate for a franchise quarterback and one fell in their lap at the top of the draft: Sam Bradford out of Oklahoma.

And then there was one. The Los Angeles Rams only have one draft pick who remains unsigned at this point in the offseason, making him one of several players across the league who still haven’t signed their rookie contracts. On Friday, Jarquez Hunter signed his rookie deal, leaving only Terrance Ferguson as the last Rams rookie still unsigned. Ferguson has participated in all the offseason workouts so there’s no reason to be concerned, but he remains without a signed contract.

Considering they waited until the very end of the draft to take a wide receiver, you wouldn’t think the Los Angeles Rams were targeting one in the first round. Not only were they reportedly eyeing a couple of wideouts, but they even tried to trade all the way up from No. 26 to 8. A trade never materialized and they wound up going the opposite direction by trading back to No. 46, bailing on the first round altogether.

This time of year, rookies across the NFL are just getting situated in their new cities. They have playbooks to study, schemes to learn and practices to prepare for, so they don’t have time for much else. The Los Angeles Rams tried to gauge how much their rookies know about Southern California with some trivia questions and needless to say, it didn’t go very well. They have a lot to learn about L.A. and the franchise as a whole, with some players being unfamiliar with the team’s mascot.

As @StuJRams pointed out, there's a special meaning behind Terrance Ferguson's jersey number (18) It's the same number worn by the late Spencer Webb, Ferguson's teammate at Oregon. Webb died in a cliff-diving accident in 2022. https://t.co/jv15wEY9OH

Jadeveon Clowney is a free agent after being cut by the Panthers this week. Should the Rams give him a look and keep adding to their pass rusher? There are pros and cons to such a move https://t.co/jRRqrHTBHl
