    Nebraska volleyball won its fourth straight road match in eight days Saturday night in Washington. “I thought we did some really good things,” head coach John Cook said postgame. “We’re just happy, it’s been four road matches all over the country in the past eight days.” The Huskers swept the Huskies in dominant fashion in the second game of their west coast road trip that started in Eugene against Oregon, (25-17, 25-11, 25-21).

    Senior outside hitter Merritt Beason led Nebraska to its first win in Madison in 11 years. Beason’s 11 kills and 3 blocks helped sweep No. 7-ranked Wisconsin in the first of their two matchups this season on Friday, (25-21, 25-22, 25-19). The Huskers went into Madison and avenged their only regular season loss of last season which came at Wisconsin. The Badgers had won eight straight home games against Nebraska dating back to 2013 before Friday's loss.
