Good Morning. Today we are starting the morning off with a smattering of 30's and low 40's. Last night, high pressure began to build and pushed away most of our cloud cover. Because of that, temps will continue to drop this morning and as such, we are in a frost advisory until 9 am. When the sun rises, there will be light cloud cover that will last though the late morning. The afternoon will be completely sunny and inactive. With the rising pressure, a warming trend begins today.

Good Morning. Today, we are in the influence of a large scale trough. This trough however, is not very deep and doesn't contain much energy. So, today's weather will be partially cloudy from the addition of upper level moisture. These conditions will brings today's high temperature down to below average for this time of year. Along the Coast, temps will range from the mid to high 50's. Inland, we will be somewhere in the low 60's.

Good Morning. Today is going to be a repeat of Thursday. The forces and conditions are nearly identical. The primary difference between today and yesterday will be total warming. With East winds and short wave high pressure still turned on, today's temps will be slightly warmer inland while slightly cooling along the Coast. Expect high 70's in the Basin, low 60's on the Coast, and low 70's in the Valley.

Good Morning. Today will once again be sunny, warm, and inactive. The key change in today's weather will be the beginning of a weak 2 day warming event. Yesterday's slight disturbance to our Northeast is no longer close enough to have any input on the PNW. So, ridging will be building in intensity today and thus pressure is increasing. Today's ridging will place a local zone of low pressure somewhere between the Coast and the Valley.

Good Morning. A slight disturbance passes near us today which will keep the wind directions onshore. With that, we are starting the day with fog along the Coast and in Creswell once again. Expect a similar burn off period to Tuesday for foggy areas today. We are still partially in the Rex blocking pattern today which will keep moisture out of the upper atmosphere. So, we are once again moving into a fantastic and sunny day.

Good Morning. Today, the Rex blocking pattern is maintained. So, todays temps and conditions will be almost identical to Monday. The key differences come from wind direction. Today, we will be under mostly Westerly flow as opposed to the East winds from Monday. Westerly winds will allow for temperatures to relax slightly since more moderate air will be transported into the area from over the Ocean.

Good Morning. We are starting this week with high pressure moving into the area while a cutoff low swirls around near Sothern California. This is the exact set up for a Rex blocking pattern, so we are looking at warm dry and benign conditions while this persists. Today, we have the maximum East winds and highest influence of high pressure of the whole event. So, today will be the hottest of the week. Most areas will reach the mid to low 70's today with Southern areas even making an approach at 80.

Good morning. Today, we are going to begin the day dry and calm. That won't last however. We are just right at the edge of being impacted by a cold front. The cold front will be today's weather maker and will bring a weak rain event into the area starting in the early afternoon. Since the cold front arrives in the afternoon, there is still enough heating through the morning to bring afternoon temps into the high 60's and possibly even 70 in the Basin.

Good Morning. Today, we are starting off damp. Many areas will be plunged into light showers and mist through the early morning hours. The precipitation will be short lived though. Pressure rises through today, so as soon as the sun starts rising, conditions will begin to dry out. Despite the drying trend, sunshine won't be a regular occurrence today. Cloud cover will shift from low to mid to high through the day. So, conditions will obviously be clearing, but won't have a chance to fully clear.

Good Morning. Today, we are brushed by a quickly moving low that brings more rainfall than Yesterday, but for less time. We start the morning out relatively dry and slightly warm. As early as 5 am, chances for Coastal rainfall will begin. Through the remainder of the morning, showers drop into the area from the Northwest and slowly advance Southeast. As showers move through, winds will accelerate, but won't be much more intense than yesterday.
