Sydney’s largest public housing estate is being redeveloped, but not all these homes need to be demolished

The New South Wales government is forging ahead with renewal of the state’s largest public housing estate. Developer Stockland and three community housing providers are contracted to deliver the first stage nearly a decade after it was announced. Some 749 homes are to be demolished and replaced with more than 3,000 new apartments. Following the Minns government’s changes in 2023, Waterloo South will comprise 30% social housing, 20% affordable housing and 50% market-rate housing.

Cleveland State senior goalie Cameron Logan was named the final ASUN Defensive Player of the Week for the 2023 season. Logan receives this honor for the second time this season and continues to be the lone Viking to earn ASUN weekly honors. Logan helped the Vikings to a 14-12 victory over Detroit in their regular-season finale on Saturday. The Green and White completed the 2023 season with a 6-7 overall record and a 4-5 mark in ASUN games.

Cleveland State senior goalie Cameron Logan was named the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week. Logan becomes the first player in program history to earn an ASUN weekly honor. Logan aided in the Vikings second straight victory as the Green and White defeated St. Bonaventure on the road, 13-6. In the game, the senior made 15 saves while picking up a team-best four ground balls. The North Canton, Ohio, native had a stretch of 23:43 without allowing a goal, including a clean sheet in the third quarter.
