It’s not substantial, but it’s better than nothing. “This is OK, I guess,” the student, Carissa Berry, said. With the cafeteria still under construction, some students struggle to find affordable food options on campus. There are food trucks that are on campus daily, but with the average price for an entree being around $15 it’s not the most economical solution.

A tentative agreement over a new contract for theLong Beach City College Faculty Association (LBCCFA) has been reached after five months of working on the old contract according to the negotiating team. Veronica Alvarez, a negotiating team member, confirmed through an email sent by Jeffery Sabol, another negotiating team member, the details that were agreed upon. “This is a really good beginning and we are pretty happy,” Alvarez said.
