A clear definition of recurrent pregnancy loss is required to guide diagnosis, inform investigations, and evaluate treatments. Traditionally, the term recurrent pregnancy loss (RM) has been defined as three or more consecutive pregnancy losses (Rai and Regan, 2006; Stirrat, 1990). However recently number of losses has been debated, with no consensus on the inclusion of biochemical losses, pregnancies of unknown location, and non-consecutive losses.
