Some years ago I was watching MTV Latin America, in a park in La Condesa, Mexico City they were interviewing León Larregui the singer of Zoé the most successful Mexican alternative rock band of the 2000s. He remarked that he chose the location because that park was designed by his architect grandfather who was Basque and he then mentioned that he felt that be Basque is to be weird. Not the first time that reflection was ushered.

Every time a politician faces jail time for corruption or other major crimes, we get accusations of lawfare. The main questions that interest me, tbh, are 1) are the charges true? 2) is the penalty in accordance with the law? As both seem to be the case here, seems fair
