Well, I have two copies of the APOE4 gene, so my odds of getting something like Alzheimer’s are pretty high, gotta tell you. The odds of this happening to a woman are unbelievably low. The APOE4 gene confers advantages earlier in life, but later in life… especially in the United States, it becomes a bit ugly. I found this out a while ago; a couple of years ago, at the beginning of the pandemic.
