FDA in late March sent a warning letter to TheSafePills, an online pharmaceutical company that markets prescription medication directly to consumers, alleging the website offered unlawful sale of unapproved and misbranded drugs to U.S. patients, including opioid products. An Inside Health Policy review of the website on Friday (April 11) found consumers could also order antibiotics, injection fertility hormones and testosterone on TheSafePills without a prescription.
