Rick Rouse, a retired ELCA pastor and professor, collaborated with Global Refuge on his latest book, A Journey Called Hope: Today’s Immigrant Stories and the American Dream (Chalice, 2024). Rage Prayers (Morehouse Publishing, 2024) is a collection of prayers that readers can borrow and use for a variety of moods and circumstances.

I knew that the style and colors I chose would set the tone for the whole rest of the room, so I wanted to be sure about my decision. It was easy to get overwhelmed with crib options. You can pay top dollar for heirloom-quality pieces, but because I didn’t plan to hand down my crib that wasn’t my style.

I needed this laugh today. Here is the transcript of a political voicemail for the person running to be my representative in Congress. Be sure you read the end. I laughed hard, but it also feels a little too real. #payformyboat #bumgartnerforcongress #PoliticsToday https://t.co/rZi1ODmcEY
