An unnerving horror short from Ethan Hunt, Dark Water stars Amelie Melsness and tells a creative story that will have you looking over your shoulder. Which is what a young woman is forced to do when a shadow, brought on by a jar full of dark liquid, starts to haunt her. While the concept might seem basic, especially as far as a supernatural tale goes, it’s told in disconcerting fashion. This is what makes it a compelling watch. That, and the fact that it does have some frightening touches.

Ok, where were we? I jest, of course, this franchise has no continuity. At least outside of the first two films. The only thing that links them is the name and the occasional bit of werewolf action. Yet, somehow, it continues to be an entertaining franchise to experience, with some genuinely creative ideas here and there. Bad films, for the most part, but memorable bad films. Which brings us to Howling V: The Rebirth, a werewolf film with almost no werewolf action in it.

What if your neighbour wasn’t just weird but something far more sinister? That is the question that My Weird Neighbour asks, a horror short from MKofficial. Where a man, late one evening, hears a knock on his apartment door. Opening it, he looks across the hall to see his neighbour peering back at him, and they seem a bit… odd. Enough so, that it frightens the man, and he is left uneasy after closing the door. He’s safe inside his apartment though, right?
