Coe, along with YEA! Program Manager Reci Shook and Somerset-Pulaski Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bobby Clue showed up Thursday to the board meeting of the Somerset-Pulaski Economic Development Authority to thank that organization for its participation in the program.

The Somerset Street Department was part of the discussion during Monday’s budget workshop, including a review of how the city’s streets were taken care of during winter weather. Somerset Alan Keck, in addressing Street Superintendent David Hargis, noted, “It has been an unusually wet year. We had an unusual amount of snow. Cross said the plan is to extend the Tennessee highway designated as 111 over the Kentucky border, utilizing existing roadways.
