Maxwell "Romeo" Smith, one of the great reggae vocalists, has died aged 80. The news broke over the weekend via Smith's social media accounts. No time, place or cause of death was given, though the Guardian and other publications have since confirmed that he passed away last Friday, April 11th, in Saint Andrew Parish, Jamaica, following heart complications.
