By Dan Wolfert—MUNCIE, IN – The Muncie Noon Rotary Club is excited to announce the awarding of $10,120 in grants to nine local nonprofit organizations from the Rotary Club of Muncie Fund. These funds, housed at The Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County, will support various initiatives that enhance the well-being of the Muncie community. This year saw the highest number of applications in the fund’s history, with 27 nonprofits applying for support.

By BSU Communications—MUNCIE, IN – The College of Fine Arts and School of Music at Ball State University will host a special jazz concert featuring renowned trumpeter Byron Stripling and acclaimed vocalist Carmen Bradford at 7:30 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 26, at Sursa Performance Hall. The concert, part of the University’s Arts Alive Series, is free and open to the public. “At Ball State, we value world-class experiences in the arts,” said Dr. Seth Beckman, dean of the College of Fine Arts.

VALDOSTA – The 2024-25 arts season is underway. In recent days and weeks, the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts opened its SCORE Concert Series with internationally known pianist Julian Gargiulo, Theatre Guild Valdosta opened its season with a two weekend run of “The Hallelujah Girls,” Valdosta State University Art & Design opened its annual faculty art exhibition. But there is plenty more in the weeks and months to come.
